The SHR light treatment
The high-tech ‘Super Hair Removal’ application combines the best of laser and pulsed light technology (Intense Pulsed Light; IPL). The new technology for permanent hair reduction is less painful and fewer sessions are required than with previous comparable methods. Depending on the area of application, 6 to 12 sessions at intervals of 3 to 4 weeks are sufficient - the exact number of sessions required to achieve complete permanent hair removal depends on the area of the body in question and the individual hair and skin type.
- The SHR procedure is suitable for all hair types and hair colours, from the fine hairs of the facial fuzz - including blonde, red and grey hairs, which were previously difficult to treat due to their low pigment content - to the thickest body hair.

As a result, the hair roots become desolate and the hair simply falls out within 14 days. The hair can no longer grow back, which leads to permanent hair reduction. However, only the hairs that are in an active growth phase are removed. Therefore, several sessions at intervals are required to successfully treat all hair roots.
- In contrast to laser hair removal, unfocussed light is used instead of directed light. This means that even larger areas of the body can be treated comparatively quickly and easily, which significantly reduces the time required per session.
- In contrast to the IPL procedure, SHR hair removal also works with lower energy (heating to 45°C instead of 60-70°C), which is gentler on the skin, even less painful and also reduces the risk of burns. Procedure for permanent hair removal using SHR light technology
First of all, one of our hair removal specialists will enquire about your current health situation and explain the treatment details to you. Only then will we start removing annoying hair from your face and body: quickly, inexpensively and painlessly. After a certain amount of time, you will only feel a little warmth - after all, during the SHR treatment, the light is absorbed by the melanin in the hair and converted into heat to permanently immobilise the hair roots. However, as only around 20-30% of the hair is in the necessary growth phase to be effectively cauterised, several sessions are always necessary to ultimately reach all the hair and thus achieve truly permanent hair removal.

Before the treatment
